Istanbul Flow Motion: More than a city!

Our aim to start working on this project with Turkish Airlines was to show Istanbul through a person’s eyes who does not know the city.

01. Brief

Our aim to start working on this project with Turkish Airlines was to show Istanbul through a person’s eyes who does not know the city. In order to do this, the first thing that came to our minds, was this city’s colourful streets.

Colourful trams that thousands of different people travel each day, cats that play a thousand games to be loved in every street …

02. Strategy

We aimed yo make people feel that Istanbul is not only a destination… Even if it took two weeks to shoot a cat’s video, Galata Tower, Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet and Bosphorus took their place in the movie.

03. What did we do?

With flow motion technique, we finished shooting the movie in six months, including three months outdoor shooting. At the end of the project we were able to make an excellent Istanbul portrait. And it turned out to be a colourful story about Istanbul.

04. What did we achieve?

Although it was made in 2015, it is still among the five most watched videos of Turkish Airlines. The number of views is more than ten million.
